It brings people close
Four people, one table, shoulder to shoulder. Kids and grandparents, old friends and new ones, all playing the same game.
Foosball Australia is run by a family who fell for the game during lockdown and wants more Australians to discover it: as a relaxed, social game that brings people together.
Like a lot of families, we spent much of COVID at home, working and studying in the same four walls. A foosball table turned the breaks between classes into something we all looked forward to.
Lockdown
During COVID we got a foosball table, not to compete, but to have something to play together between online classes and work. It quickly became the best part of the day.
After lockdown
When friends started coming over again, the table was where everyone ended up. No explanation needed, just grab a handle and play.
Along the way
Foosball introduced us to a warm, welcoming community, and we made new friends we would never have met otherwise.
Today
We built this site to share what we have learned and to help bring the game back in Australia, the friendly way.
Foosball is one of the few games that gets everyone off their phones and around the same table. Here's why it has stuck with us.
Four people, one table, shoulder to shoulder. Kids and grandparents, old friends and new ones, all playing the same game.
A calm, safe game for all ages with no screens involved. Just a few minutes of focus and laughter whenever you need a break.
Anyone can play on day one, and there is always something to get better at: a cleaner pass, a quicker shot, a steadier goalie.
Find a table in a bar overseas or at a co-working space, and you can join in with people you have never met.

Foosball is a bar and clubhouse classic around the world, but in Australia the game seems to have slipped out of view. Tables are harder to find, and good local information is scattered.
We want Foosball Australia to be the place Australians come to for everything foosball: choosing a table, learning to play, and finding people to play with. We're not here to replace the official sport or its competitions. We're here for everyone else: the families, the friends and the curious beginners.
Looking for your first table, or just want to say g'day? We'd love to hear from you.
